  • The Principal of ANITS - Dr. T Subrahmanyam has inaugurated a Robotics Laboratory “e-Yantra” in collaboration with IIT Bombay in Department of Mechanical Engineering, ANITS on 11-10-2018.
    The occassion was graced by the Dean (Academics) – Dr. T. .V Hanumantha Rao. The HOD – Dr B Naga Raju and Faculty Co-ordinator – Mr J V Bhanu Tej were also present.  
    Prof. Kavi Arya (Principal Investigator at IIT-B) and Dr Krishna Lala (Sr. Project Manager at IIT-B) have joined online for e-inaugural of the “e-Yantra” Robotics laboratory.

  • On 30th September 2011, The Mechanical Engineering Department of ANITS has taken its first step in enhancing the technical knowledge of the students in the field of robotics by inaugurating the robotics club “CYBORG”.

    CYBORG provides a platform for the students with zeal to excel in the field of robotics, Which is one of the emerging fields of the modern technologies.

    CYBORG is inaugurated by Prof. V.S.R.K. Prasad, Principal ANITS in the presence of eminent personalities like Prof. R. Govardhana Rao (Director-Admin), Prof. K.V.S.V.N. Raju (Director-R&D) , Prof. T.V.Hanumantha Rao (HOD,Mechanical). Faculty and club members are also attended for the inaugural.

    Addressing the large gathering, Prof V.S.R.K. Prasad gave an inspiring speech about the importance of robotics in the upcoming technologies in Mechanical Engineering and also stressed on the importance of such technical clubs in the campus. Prof. R. Govardhana Rao expressed his happiness about the formation of this club.

    Prof. T.V. Hanumantha Rao, HOD Mechanical enlighten the students with his speech about various advanced trends in the field of Robotics around the globe. The student coordinator N.Sailesh, (IV/IV Mechanical) explained about the objectives of the club.
