ISHRAE student chapter activities
(2017-2018)

1. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter organized exhibition by Johnson Controls on the 20th May, 2017 at Hotel Fortune Sreekanya, Visakhapatnam.

2.ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter conducted seminar on ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN BUILDINGS. on the 28th April, 2017 at A P Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation, Visakhapatnam Zone in association with ASSE, AP chapter.

3. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter conducted joint programme by ISHRAE & FSAI , Visakhapatnam chapters on on " WIRELESS FIRE ALARM SYSTEM ", by Aros Technologies, Nasik on 20th April, 2017 between 5pm to 7pm at Builders Association Hall, above Hotel Tycoon, Siripuram, Visakhapatnam.



ISHRAE student chapter activities
(2016-2017)

1. ISHRAE celebrated International day on 16/09/2016 for the prevention of the Ozone layer under the theme “ Ozone and climate: restored by a world united” at Integral Institute of Advanced Management (IIAM), Visakhapatnam. Dr. K.Siva Prasad, Associate Professor, Mechanical Dept attended the program.

2. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter organized seminar on “ Green Buildings and Building Management systems” at GVP College, Visakhapatnam on 16/09/2016. Mr. M.Prem Deeraj and Mr. B.G. Chandra sekar along with students of ¾ Mechanical attended the program

3. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter in association with Honeywell conducted seminar on “ Introduction to Green Building concepts & role of BMS in a Green Building” at Hotel Fortune INN Sreekrishna, Visakhapatnam on 17/09/2016. Dr. K.Siva Prasad, Associate Professor and Mr.B.B.Ashok Kumar , Assistant Professor, Mechanical Dept attended the program.

4.ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter organized technical talk by L & T on SWITCH GEAR PRODUCTS IN HVAC & REFRIGIRATION on 26/08/2016 at Builders Association Hall, Visakhapatnam. Dr. Rajesh Ghosh, M Chandra Sekhar, and J. V. Bhanutej of Mechanical Engineering Department , ANITS attended the seminar.



5. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter in association with Fire and security association of india conducted one day workshop on “Building a safe and secure India” on 22 th August 2016, Hotel Novotel Visakhapatnam ,Varun Beach, Visakhapatnam. Dr.K.Siva Prasad, Associate professor, Mechanical department and Mr.B.R.S.Rayalu, Technician, Mechanical Department attended the workshop.


6. ISHARE Visakhapatnam chapter conducted technical seminar on “Pumping Basic & Applications and Refurshibmnet of pumps and valves” on 13/07/2016 at Hotel Fortune In Krishna, Visakhapatnam by Mr. Bhaskar Reddy, Marketing Manager, Flowtech Fluid Systems Pvt. Ltd.  Dr. K.Siva Prasad, P. Chandra Sakher,  B.V.Ravi Teja, B.B. Ashok Kumar attended the seminar from ANITS.

ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter organized a technical talk on  technical seminar on “ Improving efficiency & reliability of switch gear products & electrical systems” on 22nd June 2016 at Fortune Inn Srikanya Hotel, Visakhapatnam. Dr.K.Siva Prasad, Mr.B.B. Ashok Kumar and Mr. B.V. Ravi Teja of Mechanical Engineering Department , ANITS attended the seminar.

8. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter organized one day workshop on “ Heat Load Estimation” on 30-04-2016 by Mr.D.Balaji (HVAC consultant) at Builders Association hall, VIP Road, Visakhapatnam. Mr. B.G.Chandra Saker , Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, ANITS attend the workshop.

9. ISHRAE Visakhapatnam chapter organized Technical Lecture on “Lightening protection & earthing system” on 31-05-2016 by Sri.S.H. Jai Sai Sankar at Visvesvaraya Bhavan, IEIVLC, Visakhapatnam. Dr.K.Siva Prasad, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering attended the lecture.
